Not every “coach” is your coach.
Not every “mentor” can hold your mission.

In a world where anyone can call themselves a guide, it’s sacred work to choose wisely—and protect your nervous system, your creativity, and your calling.
As a trauma-informed coach, business owner, and someone who’s been both the student and the teacher, I’ve learned: choosing the right person to walk beside you is an energetic and strategic decision.
Here are a few real questions I recommend asking before you hand over your time, money, and trust:
⸻
1. Can this person hold space for all of me—not just the parts that are “palatable”?
You deserve mentorship that allows your joy and your grief. Your fire and your softness. If you feel like you have to shrink or perform, that’s not mentorship—that’s performance management.
⸻
2. Do they embody what I desire, or do they just talk about it?
Coaching should come from overflow, not a sales funnel. Look beyond the branding—do they walk the walk? Does their life feel like the frequency you want to grow into?
⸻
3. How do they handle rupture, feedback, or boundaries?
You will inevitably have moments where you question, grow, or shift. Can they navigate that with maturity and mutual respect? Or do they ghost, gaslight, or guilt?
⸻
4. Do they coach from a regulated place—or from scarcity?
If they’re constantly preaching “do more,” “push harder,” or “money over everything,” pause. You want someone who honors your nervous system, not just your potential.
⸻
5. Am I seeking permission—or partnership?
A good coach doesn’t make you feel like they’re above you. They partner with your power. You don’t need someone to rescue you. You need someone to remind you that you’ve always been the medicine.
⸻
Choosing the right coach or mentor is an act of self-respect.

If you’re in a season where you’re ready to be seen, supported, and stretched—with compassion, creativity, and clarity—I’d love to talk.
I coach women (especially those who are navigating reinvention, burnout recovery, or creative entrepreneurship) through nervous system-based frameworks, abundance embodiment, and real-life tools that go deeper than the surface.
